The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office investigates litter violations throughout Fairfield County and works to promote a cleaner, safer community. Litter enforcement efforts are funded through a grant from the Coshocton, Licking, Fairfield, and Perry (CLFP) Solid Waste District. The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office enforces state and local weight restrictions for commercial trucks and other vehicles operating on Fairfield County roadways. These enforcement efforts help protect roadways and bridges from damage caused by overweight vehicles while promoting the safe movement of traffic.
