Awards:

  • Sheriff Phalen has received numerous commendations and awards, but the one he is most proud is the “Ohio Distinguished Law Enforcement Award” presented to him by the Ohio Attorney General.

  • Sheriff Phalen hosts a weekly radio program on WFCO 90.9 FM, as well as a monthly television program “Safety First,” shown locally on Time Warner Cable. He has also been featured in USA Today newspaper, and on Fox News and CNN.
